adequate stay but could use improvements
Our room had freshly painted walls that brightened our experience. The clean bathrooms were a refreshing touch after long days. We enjoyed the lovely river view from the picnic area which added a picturesque backdrop to our time there. The area nearby is perfect for outdoor activities, making it a great choice for families.

Cutting through the noise
A family-friendly stay tinged with imperfections! Our Standard Double Room was cozy but too tiny for five. It lacked a fresh scent and had hard beds. Clean bathrooms and helpful staff added a silver lining. For a night spent here, it’s functional but don’t expect luxury.

The bed was comfy! Our Standard Double Room felt tiny for our family of 5, and the smell of smoke lingered everywhere. Clean bathroom was a plus, but it was pretty cramped. 😅

The staff provided efficient service during check-in, which felt quick despite the initial wait. The clean bathrooms were a relief, and the proximity to skiing options was a definite plus for our family. However, the room was cramped for five people, and the constant odor of stale cigarettes was off-putting. Additionally, the thin towels and hard beds made it difficult to feel fully comfortable during our stay. The location is decent, but improvements in room quality are necessary.

Request additional toiletries upfront to avoid surprises, as some may be left over from previous guests. Also, remember to check the air conditioning unit for cleanliness.

Family with children decent value
The stay was decent. The little courtyard had great thick trees and I moved a chair to the back yard by the river that was picture perfect!
It wasn’t exactly a bargain but it was still acceptable.

The aged USDA prime steaks at nearby eateries are a culinary treasure, and the stunning river walk out back is a must-see! My experience was bolstered by the owner’s kindness in providing a ride to a wedding.
When I entered the room, it smelled very musty. While the space was clean, the odor really put me off—the bed was untouched as I opted for my own sheet.

walked into a room redolent of musty odors, truly charming, if one enjoys stale air. one woudl’ve thought they’d change the bed linens, but alas, dirty sheets with hairs from the previous guest were the main attraction. expected a warm welcome, got nothing instead. just couldn’t finish a good review.

The clean bathroom was a relief after a long day with my family. Our stay included two babies, and we appreciated the proximity to Woodbury Ski Area, which made for some fun family outings. The staff helped with our early check-in, which was awesome.
In my wife’s opinion, the room felt cramped for our family. It would be great if they had more closet space for luggage.

The kids loved the easy access to nearby skiing at Woodbury Ski Area! Plus, for a family with teens, the clean bathrooms were a real plus during our stay. Another highlight was that the staff did their best to accommodate our needs, which made things smoother.
My wife says that the room was cramped for our family. It would be great if there was more space for our luggage and gear when traveling with kids.
